In my opinion, Characters should reflect people with their personalities.
It is not something that you can make with technical skills only.
You don't need too much detail such as props and accessories for character.
Just try to have adequate number of accessories that help showing the character's personality enough. No more no less.
When you keep working that way, you will be able to see delicacy in your painting that as if you change a note and it could mess up the whole music.
This is what I keep in mind when I develop character.
I know it well but I tend to forget this from time to time.
The reason I'm sharing it is that I'm one of everyone else who doesn't want to stop improving.
People who lead other people will never lose their value when other people mimic them.
So you don't need to be offended by them because what they copied from you is not everything about you.
This is what I have been believing.
